to my readers who tag their lj entries:

i frequently find myself wanting to link back to an old entry but not being able to find it. i've never tagged my entries before, but i've seen other people do it, and i assumed that one advantage of tagging would be the ability to search on a tag and find all your entries that have that tag.

so this evening i decided to tag a few entries and test it out. but i can't figure out how to do it. is it possible?

the workaround is easy, but it seems lame there should have to be one.
